oompher series - ONLINE CONTENT

Careers NZ commisioned Blackout media to produce the first webseries of it's kind which debuted with over 1.5 million views from launch. Since the first series, Blackout Media was again commisioned to do a follow up series which reached an even larger audience.
Over the coming eight week series, viewers can go behind the scenes into the lives and stories of comedian, actor and filmmaker Jimi Jackson, entertainer and fakaleiti (transgender) icon Amanaki Prescott, basketball star Brook Ruscoe, intrepid Māori photographer Te Rawhitiroa Bosch, and young caregiver Jarryd Stoneman whose video of him dancing with his 93-year-old great-grandmother received more than seven million views on Facebook.
Viewers can also look forward to hearing from performer and producer of physical and aerial theatre - Eve Gordon, and Charlie Camp - female building apprentice by day and rock-star drummer by night.
Each new episode of Web Series One can be found on Oompher’s Facebook page – facebook.com/OompherTV and YouTube channel -youtube.com/OompherTV.
Oompher is an inspirational video platform acquired by Careers New Zealand in 2015 and is now one of the organisations most popular digital tools for young people.
