Livestream Event to celebrate Matariki and New Zealands best Māori Content Creators

On the 1st of July 2021, we produced the first ever Hahana awards, purposely timed to align with the Māori new year, Matariki. We livestreamed for 2 hours on the night on Hahana Facebook and Youtube and also on the Re: facebook page.

We created a special logo for The Hahana awards and also experimented with digital invitations for each of the nominees.

Te Reo Māori was at the forefront of these awards and the awards night really did showcase our native language in all its glory.
